7 months old

Greyson turned 7 months on the 15th. He is getting so much more fun in some ways and a little harder in others. His new facial expressions are more subtle and have so much personality but he is getting more demanding with what he wants and he normally wants to be hopping up and down on our stomachs. He met his great grandparents in Oregon this past weekend and also had a great time with his cousin Dylan. We think he felt especially secure with Dylan's huge hands around his tummy.
He is looking forward to his first thanksgiving. My dad and Tyla are coming over from Hawaii to spend it with us.

Doesn't he look like Fievel?

On a little family outing to a nearby beach. It was freezing!

A video of Lars blowing into Greyson's mouth. I guess he liked it.

Eating like a big boy

Greyson recently kicked mashed carrots all over the couch while sitting on my knee so we decided then and there that it was time for a high chair. He really only likes it because he has a tray to bang his toys on but it makes feeding him much safer for our furniture.

Lars has been working hard to get our lawn looking nice and Greyson likes the change of scenery. One of my wonderful students bought him this hat at the Woodland Park Zoo.

I know I should wait but I just have to share some pictures of him in his Halloween costume.

6 months old

Greyson is 6 months old! He is very healthy and happy. Here are some great pictures of all 20.5 lbs of the little chunkster.

Going for a walk on one of these wonderful, crisp, fall days

Still loves his Nemo

Our little monster

They sure don't come much cuter than this

Sweet potatoes

With his Bedstefar

He loves his cousin Payton (even though her and uncle Brandon kept calling him 'Cousin Bacon')

Cousins - Pale and adorable

Stay tuned for the Halloween post.....

Playing the Piano

I really wanted to post a video of Greyson "talking" but it won't upload so here is a video of him playing the piano instead.

Four months and quickly turning into a little boy

I am sorry that I haven't updated in a little while. Grey is getting busier everyday and we have noticed definite little boy qualities starting to surface. I was always a little worried that the rambunctiousness that I have seen from other little boys was going to overwhelm me but everything that he is doing is so cute and endearing. As soon as he could he has wanted to live in the standing position but now he wants to bounce up and down on our laps as well. The other day he was nursing and trying to bounce (horizontally) against the arm of the chair. Not so comfy for mom!
He is a non-stop drool machine so he has a lovely rash under his chin and lives in bibs. When we were getting ready for his arrival I did not know what we would need so many bibs for but now he needs a fresh one every hour or so.
Other than that, he is absolutely "healthy" bordering on chunky. He was 17 pounds at his last doctors visit and all on a liquid diet. He is sleeping very well and taking all of his naps in his crib!
Ok, here are a ton of pictures and videos...

Before we were taking naps in his crib

Ducky must die!

He has a Sophie the Giraffe. Ridiculous but apparently necessary.

His new jumperoo

Apparently our moods don't really have an effect on our child's mood

Doing a handstand on Mommy's face

He likes to suck on his jumperoo. Yuck.

Not impressed

New House

As some of you may know we were asked to leave our home in Greenwood because the owner wanted to sell (second time in a row this has happened to us).  We lived there for three years and although there were things that drove us crazy about it, we definitely felt comfortable.  Plus, it is where we brought Greyson home and I really loved his room.
We have moved into our new place and Lars had the walk-through this evening with our previous landlord and we are completely done with that place.  It is amazing that no matter how much you love a rental once you pack everything up and have to clean you are absolutely ready to be done with it!
Here are some pictures of the rooms that we have finished and of course, our little man who is 15 weeks in two days.
Gorgeous, right?

Tummy time/Tv watching time

Sometimes I think he is just humoring us

Greyson meets Nemo

He sits like a big boy

He is awfully pale to be Hawaiian

Still hasn't mastered the art of swallowing

I just loved these pictures so you get to look at three of them

Our little Grandpa-man

I don't know why my computer flipped this photo but here is a great binky pic

Grey's new room

The front room.  This is where I teach and we have another room for the family room furniture (it's not pretty enough for photos yet).

Our big, beautiful windows

The kitchen is to the left, the family room is beyond that and the three bedrooms are down the hall

Our "shabby-chic" kitchen

It is hard work to move with a baby but we are excited about our new place and will have a barbecue soon in our new back yard.  Wanna come?
