We are bad bloggers, but our kiddo started crawling and walking so that seems to warrant a post!

Greyson has recently learned the word "no." He is not saying it but he is starting to understand what it means when we do....and he is not a fan.  Here is a video Lars took while he had Grey by himself all day on Saturday.  It takes a little while to get started because the kid is so distracted by the dog on the floor. Enjoy.

Overdue Holidays

Once you get behind on blogging and a whole lot of big events take place the prospect of getting caught up is daunting.  So here is Greyson's first Thanksgiving and Christmas in pictures without a lot of captions.

7 months old

Greyson turned 7 months on the 15th. He is getting so much more fun in some ways and a little harder in others. His new facial expressions are more subtle and have so much personality but he is getting more demanding with what he wants and he normally wants to be hopping up and down on our stomachs. He met his great grandparents in Oregon this past weekend and also had a great time with his cousin Dylan. We think he felt especially secure with Dylan's huge hands around his tummy.
He is looking forward to his first thanksgiving. My dad and Tyla are coming over from Hawaii to spend it with us.

Eating like a big boy

Greyson recently kicked mashed carrots all over the couch while sitting on my knee so we decided then and there that it was time for a high chair. He really only likes it because he has a tray to bang his toys on but it makes feeding him much safer for our furniture.

Lars has been working hard to get our lawn looking nice and Greyson likes the change of scenery. One of my wonderful students bought him this hat at the Woodland Park Zoo.

I know I should wait but I just have to share some pictures of him in his Halloween costume.

6 months old

Greyson is 6 months old! He is very healthy and happy. Here are some great pictures of all 20.5 lbs of the little chunkster.
